Rule of Thirds edits (concept, danger)

This is a photo edited in Photoshop CS4. I made a duplicate of the photo so there was two layer. Then I manipulated the background the black and white. Third I used the color range tool to select the yellow so it will stay yellow and stand out. I decided to do this so the the yellow of the beware sign will stand out and attract more audiences. This might make the audience like this photo more because the yellow makes the sign seem more to have more importance and will have a bigger effect  on the audience.

This is an edit from the previous post. I have edited this photo on Photoshop CS4. I have cropped some of the picture so their isn't any boring space that the audience will dislike. I have also made the photo brighter so its easier to focus on detail in the fore ground and background. This will make the audience like this photo more because they can get more information from the photo. By making the photo brighter it attracts the focus even more on the bright red sign.

This is a edit from the previous post photo. I have edited it in Photoshop CS4 . I have manipulated the brightness and contrast to end up with the light colors standing out and the darker making the the photo seem more dromatic. I have done this so it will have more of an effect on the audience than the old photo. I think making the photo brighter it will attract the focus more on the sign.

Rule of Thirds

Here is a photo of a beware sign in the fore ground and a lorry traveling behind. The beware sign follows the rule of thirds and gives the photo seriousness. Also i think the lorry captured also capturers a moment and gives the photo some life.

Here is a high angle shot of a fire escape. I like the contrast of color between the dark metal and light blue sky. This photo also flows the rule of thirds because you first focus on the metal casing around the ladder. The dark line also give a tough and dramatic feel.

I took this picture because I like the background factory, with the foreground foliage. This follows the rule of thirds. I also like the mix of metal and nature. The mixture of nature and industry is ironic. Also the nature at the bottom of the photo makes you feel like the nature will one day grow and take over the industry and once take back what it had

I took this photo because it has good contrast. Also the chemical barrow follows the rule of thirds. Its also well framed. The chemical barrow makes the picture different and not boring.

Rule of third(events)

I took this picture because I like the bright red danger sign in front of the light background. This signs follows the rule of thirds because its not in the centre of the photo. Its also nicely framed.

I took this photo because its has good straight lines. It also takes time to figure out what the object is, and that will keep the audience interested. The light background and the dark ground works well with the grey.

I took this photo because i wanted to capture the  falling snow in front of and interesting objects like the danger keep out sign in the fore ground. The sign follows the rule of thirds. Also the background is also interesting because it isn't clear and you cant tell what the building are until you look closer.

close up edits(concept)

I have edited it using Photoshop CS4. I have manipulated the photo by changing the exclusion. By doing this I think it bring mystery and a slight spooky theme to the photo. I think the audience will like is because making more mysterious it will make the audience want to focus more and want to get more information from the photo.

close up(concept)

I took this photo because I thought the reflection of the light will make the photo interesting and the dim building site in the background makes it mysterious and makes the audience want more. Also the fencing makes the photo seem dangerous and creature more tension.

symmetry(client requirements )

A industry magazine asked me to take photos of different structures.

I took this picture because its symmetrical. Also the light foreground, this makes us focus on the structure more and make use try to figure out what it is. It also has hard straight line that gives the photo have structure.

I took this picture under neath a electrical pylon. I took this because it has excellent symmetry. The dark lines make the photo more dramatic and interesting.

Wide shots edit(client requirements )

A industry magazine asked me to take photos of different structures.

In this picture I have edited in Photoshop CS4. I manipulated this photo using the patch tool to get rid of a large metal pole in the centre of the photo. I did this so more of the focus is on the chimney and the bushes. This will increase the factor of the rule of thirds. I think the audience will proffer this edited photo to the original because this is less to take in and they will be able to focus on the over factors like the chimney and roof of factory.

I have edited this photo in Photoshop CS4. I have cropped and zoom on the light reflection in the water so their isn't any unnecessary waste of photo that will make the audience dislike the photo. I think this will make the audience like the photo more because the water and the sun makes the audience feel peaceful and calm.

Wide shots(event)

Here is a wide shot of a large factory chimney with bushes and nature in the foreground. The large chimney tower and the bushes follow the rule of thirds. The bushes that was once being taken over by the industry and now in this photo akin back and groaning wild over the industry

This is an wide shot of the severn bridge on a sunny day. I took this picture because I like the light reflection on the water. I also think the audience will like this because it will make them feel peaceful and calm.

This is a Panoramic wide shot of the Severn Bridge. I like this photo because the dark and I misty weather makes the photo seem serious.Have also have cropped this photo because it was badly framed. After cropping the photo it is now nicely framed and their isn't and unnecessary waste of photo.
